Improperly framed content
[edit]in the section "Black Curros", in paragraph 8, the article states:
"The curro was dedicated to laziness, theft and procuring, while his companion, the curra, also called "mulata de rumbo", exercised the prostitution in Cuba. "
this assertion of the purported laziness and thievery of an entire ethnic group and culture is obviously somebody's opinion, which appears to rely on a good deal of prejudice, and yet the article presents it as fact.
this should be presented as the source's opinion, rather than as quantitative information. for example, "the curros were said (by whomever) to be..." rather than "the curro was..."
not being personally familiar with the content, i don't feel confident making the necessary corrective edits, but i felt this was worth mentioning. Marmoset helsinkievich (talk) 18:17, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
